Spokane Youth Distance Team is a small, nonprofit business with the purpose of providing quality coaching to Spokane area youth ages 8-18 who love to train and compete in distance running. We welcome all athletes who desire to improve as competitive distance runners. Training is provided for both cross country and track with a focus on preparing athletes for competition in the local, regional, and national USATF Junior Olympics. We affiliate with Spokane Mercury Athletic Club, a USA Track and Field team, and compete under this name. During the track season, sprints, jumps, and throws coaching is available through our partner club at no additional fee. All distance coaches are volunteers. If you wish to support our cause, please contact us to see how your donation can help kids reach their competitive goals.
